Claudia Botero (23-05-1969) is a Colombian artist, famous for her graphic works. Her fantastic mind creates colorfull imaginary images playfully on canvas, paper and wood. Claudia's art is very versatile and can be placed in a broad spectrum. It can best be described as 'spiritual fantasy meets classic reality'.

Claudia's gallery / workshop is located in uptown Escazu, Costa Rica in the beautiful Spanish colonial Edificio Tapezco.

Claudia's work took her all over the world, studying and developing new techniques and adding new expositions to her extensive and impressive list of expositions in galleries, courthouses and museums. Italy, Cuba, The Netherlands, France, Luxemburg, Belgium, Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama and Argentina, to name a few countries where Claudia's art work was invited.

Claudia's work gained two prestigious awards, both in Florence, Italy, where Claudia studied drawing and painting at the Florence Art Academy, Palazzo Spinelli, which gained faim for her restauration of Renaissance art.
